Rather than focusing on getting everything “right,” children are encouraged to listen, explore, participate, and express themselves in a warm and supportive environment.
Each class introduces musical concepts in an age-appropriate way, allowing children to learn naturally while having fun with friends.

What we explore

Children learn to hear and sing musical patterns using Do–Re–Mi, helping develop pitch awareness, listening skills, and a strong musical ear. Selected songs from Piano Adventures® are introduced through singing and playful activities from the very beginning.

Clapping, movement, percussion, and musical games help children develop a natural sense of beat, rhythm, and attentive listening.

Children experience tempo, dynamics, musical character, and expression through movement, imagination, and play.

Stories, games, and imaginative activities give children opportunities to explore sounds, make musical choices, and express their own ideas.

Each class ends with a simple hands-on craft inspired by the day’s musical theme—a fun way to reinforce learning and bring a little piece of Music Orchard home.
