Her Teaching Approach
Kexin believes that strong musical foundations and a genuine love of music should grow together.
Because every student learns differently, she tailors her lessons to each student’s goals, learning style, and level of development.
Her teaching balances technique, musical expression, ear training, and theory, helping students not only learn how to play, but also understand and connect with the music they are making.
Her goal is to help students become confident, independent musicians who enjoy making music and are excited to keep learning.
Beyond the Lesson
As an active collaborative pianist, Kexin brings real-world musicianship and performance experience into the studio.
Her work as a ballet and church pianist gives her a broad musical perspective and helps students develop listening skills, expression, collaboration, and a deeper connection with the music they play.
